I saw "Gay Dad" at Glastonbury 99 and they were great, sheer class. Cliff Jones has loads of energy, a great voice and oozes charisma.
I don't think I will ever forget him saying- "All right, all right. We will play the song which is number 22 in the charts" (referring, of couse to the fantastic "Joy"
Well done Gay Dad, you are becoming something fantastic...
I was'nt there live ( ! ) but I think Gay Dad were sheer brilliance at Glasto, doing what nobody else does and doing it like only they can. The performance was miles better then the one by Kula Shaker ( forgive me ! ) Hole, The Beautiful South and even the kings, R.E.M
